Okay, relationship memes with Adachi are always really freaking hard because the ending is pretty vague when it comes to him and I don't really know how to quite articulate some things, but. Yes. This has been your disclaimer.

I will preface this by saying that Adachi doesn't hate Souji and his friends. He finds Yousuke annoying, he rolls his eyes at Kanji, Yukiko, and Chie whenever they go "you!!!1`" et all, but for the most part, there's no actual hate there. They range from being intolerable (Yousuke) to good for decent conversation I guess (Souji).

Naoto is now edging towards the latter group in his mind! He's never particularly liked her because of the whole ~*Detective Prince*~ thing and damn that brat is really full of herself. After working with her, however, he does respect her methods to a certain extent. As much as he can respect anything, I suppose? It's. Hmm.

He doesn't like her, but to be honest, he doesn't like anyone (with Dojima possibly being the rare exception). But he's going to be more tolerant of her from here on and less of a complete dickwad. This is a TINY BIT OF PROGRESS — it took him about eight months to actually have a civil conversation with Souji, so. You know.

To be honest, I'm actually shocked he's making progress period. ... Which is probably why I'm not dropping him because he's not stagnating in the least now and there's a whole boatload of interesting things to explore after this game. SO THANK YOU, SERIOUSLY, I had a blast and I'm really looking forward to future threads.
